Returning Veterans Project

Still Serving During COVID-19

March 24, 2020

Dear RVP Community,

With the current uncertainty surrounding COVID-19, I want you to know that all of us at the Returning Veterans Project understand that you may be experiencing difficult circumstances because of the coronavirus pandemic. Please know how important you are to the Returning Veterans Project. We appreciate you and we are still here.

The RVP staff is working remotely, yet all of our office support is here - our office phone, email, website, are all still available. That said, we acknowledge that there are many changes happening within our volunteer provider network. Some are doing what they can to provide telehealth and virtual check-ins and other high-contact health service providers are experiencing temporary restrictions in their ability to serve. There is a great deal we cannot control, yet our volunteers are doing all they can to continue serving our veterans and families during this time.

We are at our finest when we take care of each other. - Katherine Center

Since 2005, RVP has been connecting our post-9/11 veterans, service members, and families to free, confidential mental and physical health services. Although times are challenging right now, we remain committed to our mission and everyone we serve.

We hope that you and your loved ones remain safe and well during this time.

In gratitude,

Bethany A. Walmsley
Executive Director
