As a mother of a returning veteran, and having been married to a Vietnam vet, it is such a relief to have the Returning Veterans Project – to see our troops welcomed back in such a significant way creates such a warm, special place in my heart. My son has just returned from Iraq, and I know at some point he will need and want the support of caring professionals with the knowledge and experience to help support him throughout the whole process. Knowing that Returning Veterans Project is there and is confidential, is such a huge relief to me as a Mom!
