HERE. IS. BETTER. intimately follows the journeys of four Veterans, each with unique backgrounds and service experiences, as they undergo evidence-based trauma psychotherapies for PTSD. From former presidential hopeful Jason Kander’s decision to seek treatment during his Kansas City mayoral race to a Vietnam War Veteran haunted by events from over 50 years ago to the often overlooked voices of women Veterans, this film gives a unique view of their paths to finding healing and resolution. Watch the trailer to get a glimpse into their stories.
